A father and son, Mimmo and Francesco Jodice, intertwine their gazes on life and art, in a timeless journey where photography becomes a compass to navigate a world in transformation.
Sometimes, the profession flows from father to son like an ancient river. But rarely do both banks shine with the same light. For the first time, Mimmo and Francesco meet in an open dialogue about life, art, and the mystery of a time undergoing profound transformation. Together, they invite us to observe reality from an unexpected vantage point, beyond the threshold of the visible. Mimmo, one of the great masters of Italian photography, has been a tireless pioneer since the 1960s and has established Italian photography on the international scene. Francesco turns his gaze to the contemporary social landscape and its metamorphoses, intertwining art and urban anthropology in a poetics capable of restoring to humanity the reflection of its cities. Like two travelers from millennia ago, they set sail, relying only on the thin line of the horizon, a journey where the essence is the movement, and the gaze becomes a compass to navigate the changing world.
