Synopsis
Casa Venini is the story of a family, a narration through the memory of those who were all protagonists of an industry that has always been a synonim of made in Italy artistic craftmanship. Casa Venini is the narration of the love of a man born in Milan, Paolo Venini (1921-1959), for a city: Venice. But also for glass of which his name has become almost a synonim. His daughter Laura Venini Hillyer, his grandchildren Laura and Alessandro Santillana, the scholars Marino and Rosa Barovier, master glazier such as Bepi Toso Fei e Lucio Moretti, architects such as Carlo Scarpa, Bruno Zevi, Francesco Da Rin and Massimo Vignelli, with their memories offer their contribution to design in cronological order the most important steps of the company and of its founder.
