Hide Synopsis
His gallery opened in Milan, in Via Borgonuovo, in 1967. Franco Toselli often accompanied his exhibitions with brief poetic commentaries, contributions that were then published in the exhibition catalogues. Among the artists who passed through the spaces of his galleries: Peter Angermann, Alighiero Boetti, Daniel Buren, Francesco Clemente, Tony Cragg, Gino De Dominicis, Luciano Fabro, Bonomo Faita, Piero Gilardi, Dan Graham, Jan Knap, Joseph Kosuth, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Mario Merz, Luigi Ontani, A.R. Penck, Paola Pezzi, Emilio Prini, Salvo, Richard Serra, Antonio Serrapica, Antonio Sofianopulo and Lawrence Weiner. He says his gallery was born and grew as a centre of research. It closed in 2016, but he continues to produce exhibitions with young artists.
