Genius Loci

The film is concerned with the restoration and reopening of the Olivetti store in Piazza San Marco in Venice to document the recovery of an historic and meaningful place. It is the place where Carlo Scarpa combines his attention to detail with the most extreme ability in the use and combination of materials. It represents a unique example in the panorama of restorations and installations of the 1950s, both in Italy and internationally.
