Synopsis

L'Adelaide is the story of Adelaide Acerbi, of her work as a graphic designer, and of her way of producing comprehensive communication for Driade, from public relations to art direction and graphic design for catalogs, books, and magazines.
Episodes from Driade’s history are woven into the story of Adelaide Acerbi, built on the anecdotes of: Enrico and Antonia Astori, Nanda Vigo, Isa Tutino, Marirosa Toscani Ballo, Laura Salvati, Alessandro Mendini, Giuseppe Chigiotti, Flavio Albanese, Paolo Lomazzi, Fulvio Irace, Rodolfo Dordoni, Italo Lupi, Vanni Pasca, Gordon Guillaumier, and Tom Vack.
The narrative also focuses on several of Driade‘s iconic products: the Duecavalli, projects by Enzo Mari and Nanda Vigo, the Oikos, the Follies collections, the projects of Philippe Starck and Borek Sipek and of the many other designers who have contributed to the quality and identity of the Driade brand.
