Synopsis

Pierluigi Ghianda is a key figure in the history of design. He is not part of most famous designers in Italy because he is a wood worker who has pursued an artisan life in spite of an increasingly industrialized world. In his home-studio, in the heart of Brianza, has designed and supported names that have made great the design Made in Italy. From Gio Ponti and Castiglioni Brothers through Ettore Sottsas and Gae Aulenti, always with passion for work and for a special material such as wood, which he has known, loved, signed.
