Synopsis
Thanks to the vision of a collector and the contribution of artists, architects, designers and gallery owners, the historic Palazzo dei Conti in the center of Lecce has been transformed into the ideal home for a unique collection of historic design and contemporary art, a place of incredible beauty and brightness that has been renamed Palazzo Luce.
The docufilm “Palazzo Luce” begins with the story of the collector Anna Maria Enselmi’s search for a “family home” in Puglia, and then follows the renovation and transformation project of the Palazzo.
A process that over time is enriched with works of contemporary art and site-specific projects, transforming the historic home of Maria D’Enghien, Queen consort of Naples from 1407 to 1414, into a unique place in the world thanks to the contribution of important international designers and artists.
