Synopsis
The voice over is Peter Coyote’s and the interviews to the protagonist and people close to him, such as Roger Tomalty, build the passionate story of Paolo Soleri: architect, urbanist, philosopher and theorist, born in Turin and student of Frank Lloyd Wright, forerunner of sustainable living. His works and theories are legendary and have guided entire generations of architects, but also common people’s lives, inspired by his research of harmonic balance between built architecture and landscape. An organic vision, pursued and elaborated along his whole existence, from his Cosanti studio, in Arizona, with project of self-sustaining communities, oriented to the activation of human interaction and the reduction of waste and pollution.
