Roma, summer 1968. A very young Pino Pascali, then at the peak of his dazzling artistic career, dies in a motorcycle accident. With him died one of the protagonists of an extraordinary era in Italian and international art.
Fifty years later, the Pino Pascali Museum at Polignano a Mare (in Apulia, the area where the artist was born), buys and exhibits Pascali’s work “Cinque bachi da setola e un bozzolo” (Five Bristle Worms and a Cocoon, 1968).
While documenting this return trip to the native land, the film reflects on Pascali through a narrative in which space and time fold up and fade away.
