Synopsis

Alessandro Guerriero attended the Faculty of Architecture in Milan in 1968, these were the years of protest and he found Ernesto Nathan Rogers, the Castiglioni brothers, Vittorio Gregotti as teachers, from whom he learned a lot but in those years the questioning and criticism of everything until the refusal of the degree, and as a non-graduate, as a non-architect, as a non-designer, he develops his projects which are not products, are not art... and are a bit of everything and none of these.
His closeness to the "radical design" groups led him to found Alchimia, a research group with his sister Adriana in 1976, in which numerous designers collaborated over time, including Michele De Lucchi, Andrea Branzi, Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone , Anna Gili, Bruno and Giorgio Gregori, Cinzia Ruggeri, Daniela Puppa, Franco Raggi. Alchimia develops projects that involve the body and clothing, furniture and architecture, art, video, music and photography.
